The Bloody Package

Muahahaha...here it is.

Without further ado, I ripped open the package like a lion tearing its prey apart, and started rummaging through the documents like a true scavenger.

All the wordy papers were a pain in the ass, so I flipped through the Enrolment Guide first to have a quick understanding of how the procedure works.

Then, I saw...

Wearing Slippers - Fine $50
Having Long Hair (for males) - Fine $50
Having Outlandish Coloured Hair - Fine $50
Being Improperly Dressed - Fine $50

I was pretty shocked. Am I getting the wrong idea here? I always thought Poly allow students to keep long hair?!

HEY!! Congrats!!
HEHE!! In my times, I only know Temasek poly allows students with long hair, you know why? Cos there are designing courses and apparently, designers should be allowed with long hair LOL!!! But as for Singapore Poly, I thought their rules are more slag than Ngee Ann... hey I was from Ngee Ann! And Ngee Ann has the most rules, no this no that! And definitely no to slippers! Though I cheated a few times saying I sprained my ankle cos it was an IN thing to wear slippers that time. :P My guy friend who only had shoulder length hair was denied to attend the workshop class! Poor guy.

I saw the letter "M", you admitting to Mechanical n Manufacturing? Btw, I was from Mechanical, the course with the most male students (thus I also found my hubby there) hehe!!!

And it's really crappy to fine $50 for each of the broken rules. Somehow it seems that they always think poly students are very rich, and you can see from the cost of the monthly transport concession of a tertiary poly student, you know it's always alot more than JC students. Our poly school fees are already expensive. How much is it now?

true enough, it's damn ex now..but 16k is the total for the 3-yr course right? You mean 2k+ is for a semester year?

Everywhere also has rich n poor students ler.. more poor ones anyway...
sigh.. no wonder I know of someone who got problem with the school fee during one of the semester, and they didn't release his result.

Hello thanks! I'm admitted to Mechatronics though. Wow NP has the most rules?
Oh my, I always thought SP was the strictest!

They won't be able to get the $50 from me because personally I don't like long hair! XP

Now they got tuition grant and financial schemes. If without the schemes the fees would be 2k+ (provided that you accept tuition grant, if not around 16k!).

Some poly students are indeed very rich...

Yeah 2k+ is for an entire year, but 16k are for those not under
tuition grant and scheme. Not sure whether it's for 1 year or 3 years.

What?! Never pay money result never release? That's pretty cruel...since we students study hard is all for the sake of the results!
